Throughout the year the American Art Therapy Association will be providing an opportunity for members to participate in on line forum through which members can discuss specific practice areas with those interested in learning more about the subject.

How Does It Work?
Member Experts are encouraged to volunteer to lead a one hour discuss on topics of interest to 6 or more members. The role of the Member Expert includes: communicate about his/her extensive experience in the subject area, ability to pose questions on the topic and engage the participants in an active on-line dialogue, and answer questions from participants and promote dialogue.

When Will Dialogues Be Held?
The sessions will be held when 6 or more members request a dialogue on a specific topic and an Member Expert is available to volunteer to lead the discussion. The time the dialogue will be held will be determined by the Member Expert. Please indicate when you request a session a time that works for you.

What Will Be Covered? 
Recommend an area of interest to you. Topics might include:

Information about any client population such as medically ill, sexual abuse, forensic, ADHD, etc.
Relevant topics Multicultural Issues, Technology, Brain Research, etc.

How Do I Participate?
To participate as a Member Expert or interested participant use the Comment Registry in the Contact Us section to send a message with the Subject: On-Line Dialogue. As the topic grows in popular interest, a volunteer Member Expert will be matched to lead the on-line discussion. Notice of the up coming on-line dialogue will be sent through the biweekly Update News received by all members.
